The Career Advisory Unit (CAU) was established in late 2017 with the main objective of driving initiatives and programs that create opportunities for students to develop career and life skills in line with INCIEF's mission.

In 2020, CAU merged with the Action Based Learning Unit and was placed under the School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS), forming the Action Based Learning & Career Advisory Unit (ABL&CA). ABL&CA reports to the Deputy President Academic and collaborates with the Alumni Office, the Registry & Student Services (RSS) Department, and the Student Representative Council (SRC) to strategize, implement, and oversee programs and activities for students and alumni.

Moreover, the unit plays a vital role in supporting the university's mission of producing graduates equipped with strong employability skills, ready to embark on their careers, and highly valued by the industry.
