Dr. Nurhuda Binti Othman is a distinguished Research Fellow at INCEIF University with a Ph.D. in Islamic Finance. Her expertise spans Islamic finance, Islamic economics, policy research, and entrepreneurship, with a focus on fostering socio-economic equity and sustainability through innovative research and strategic initiatives.
Dr. Nurhuda has over a decade of experience in banking, risk management, and consultancy, working with leading financial institutions in Malaysia. She has managed large-scale projects, including credit process re-engineering and system enhancements, and contributed to enhancing operational efficiency and compliance within financial institutions.
Her academic pursuits include exploring the interplay between financial development, financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, and institutional frameworks. She is actively involved in impactful research on socio-economic issues such as zakat collection optimization, the impact of migrant workers on the Malaysian labor market, and inequality in Malaysia. Proficient in advanced research tools, Dr. Nurhuda combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of Islamic financial principles to deliver impactful research and policy recommendations.
