What is MyRA® ?

  • MyRA® is an instrument that measures research excellence through an analysis system based on input-process-output (IPO), outcome and impact of Research, Development, Commercialisation and Innovation (RDC&I) of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Malaysia.
  • Participation in MyRA® involves data collection and reporting on research initiatives, publications, citations, grants and collaborative projects.

The MyRA® 2020 rating is awarded by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Higher Education. The rating of higher learning institutions’ (HLIs) achievement in RDC&I is categorised into six levels, with 6 Star being the highest. INCEIF University’s 4 Star recognition provides a benchmark for further strengthening its research scope and capabilities, particularly in areas that promote sustainability development.

By participating in MyRA®, INCEIF University strives to strengthen its research capabilities and foster a culture of innovation and knowledge creation. The assessment outcomes serve as a basis for identifying areas of strength and improvement in research practices and strategic planning.
