ISRA Consultancy Sdn Bhd (ICSB) has successfully conducted the IF4BOD programme at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur. This two-day training programme involves Board of Directors of 14 different banking institutions such as Alliance Bank, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, United Overseas Bank, MUFG Bank, etc.
This is our 7th cohort since 2018 which was initiated by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) to support the development of Islamic finance industry in this country. Islamic Finance for Board of Directors (IF4BOD) brings together a team of experts to discuss and reflect on the dynamism of the applicability of Shariah to financial institutions.
For the panel session, ICSB brought two respected panelists in Islamic finance which are Mr. Arsalaan Ahmed (Oz), (HSBC Amanah Malaysia) and Mr. Ahmad Hafiz Abdul Aziz, (World Bank Group). The discussion about the future of Islamic Finance and VBI was moderated by Mr. Daud Vicary Abdullah, the Managing Director of DVA Consulting. The two-way interactive discussion and communication throughout the training created positive engagement between the presenters and participants. This cohort ended successfully with the team looking forward to more impactful sessions in the future.
