Kuala Lumpur, 15th June 2026 – INCEIF University extends its warmest congratulations to alumnus Ahmadou Al Aminou Mohamed Lo on his appointment as the new Prime Minister of the Republic of Senegal.
An esteemed economist and veteran central banker, Prime Minister Ahmadou Lo has been a vital architect of Senegal’s modern economic and governance frameworks. Before his elevation to head of government by President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, he served as Minister of State to the Presidency, leading the operational rollout of the “Senegal 2050” National Transformation Agenda.
His extensive professional background includes a stellar multi-decade career at the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO), where he championed fiscal discipline, banking regulation, and regional economic integration.
Prime Minister Ahmadou Lo is a graduate of INCEIF University, having completed his Executive Master in Islamic Finance (EMIF) in 2024. His expertise in both conventional macroeconomics and Islamic finance positions him uniquely to navigate complex economic landscapes and drive sustainable national growth.
