- Prepared legal, regulatory, supervisory and Shariah framework for Islamic banking institutions in Algeria with a view to facilitate the operation and growth of the Islamic banking industry.
- Recommended the most appropriate accounting treatment for Islamic financial institutions and instruments and identified the areas where these standards may differ from the standards currently prevailing in Algeria.
- Provide guidelines for the operation of Islamic windows to ensure the segregation of Islamic and conventional activities and compliance with Shariah principles.
