INCEIF Health Day 2026 Strengthens Commitment to Wellness and a Thriving Campus Community

Kuala Lumpur, January 2026 — INCEIF University successfully hosted INCEIF Health Day 2026, a two-day wellness initiative held on 27–28 January 2026 at its Jalan Tun Ismail campus. Organised by the University Social Responsibility Committee (USRC), the event brought together students, staff, and valued healthcare partners in support of building a healthier, more resilient, and thriving university community.

The programme was officially launched by Prof Emeritus Dato’ Dr Azmi Omar, President & CEO of INCEIF University, who underscored the importance of health as the foundation of sustainable success. In his officiating remarks, he reminded the university community that wellbeing is not merely the absence of illness, but a holistic state of physical, mental, and social wellness. He further emphasised that nurturing health is a shared responsibility and should remain part of the university’s culture beyond a single event.

Guided by the theme “Nurturing Health & Wellness for a Thriving University Community,” INCEIF Health Day 2026 featured a wide range of educational, interactive, and community-building activities. Highlights included a forum by the Mental Illness Awareness & Support Association (MIASA) on challenging stigma through lived experience, as well as sessions delivered by the Wellness Hub Hulu Langat on national wellness initiatives.

The event also welcomed distinguished speakers such as Prof Dato’ Dr Aminuddin Ahmad, a medical doctor at PrimaNora Medical Centre and Professor of Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the UiTM Medical Faculty, who shared valuable insights on sleep and mental illness. Another key session was delivered by Dato’ Dr Rajban Singh, a specialist in Geriatric Medicine at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, who spoke on regenerative health, longevity, and holistic wellness.

Participants benefited from numerous wellness services and booths offering health screenings, consultations, fitness assessments, posture and eye checks, and a blood donation drive. The programme was further enriched through collaborations with other university units, including a mini ping pong tournament co-organised by INCEIF’s Sports and Recreational Club (I-LIFE Club) and an art therapy workshop supported by the Student Experience & Alumni Relations Unit. These activities added a vibrant and engaging dimension to Health Day while encouraging community interaction and healthy lifestyles. Lucky draws also contributed to the lively atmosphere across both days.

INCEIF Health Day 2026 reflects the University’s continued commitment to fostering a supportive campus environment where wellbeing is prioritised, mental health awareness is strengthened, and healthy habits are encouraged throughout the year.
