Klang, 18 Dec 2024 – In a meaningful gesture of community outreach and knowledge sharing, INCEIF University donated 167 book titles, comprising a total of 194 copies, to the Resource Centre of Masjid Raudhatul Mukminin in Sg. Pinang, Klang, today. These books were donated by the INCEIF community to INCEIF over the years, and were mostly fictions, autobiographies and self-help guides.
The collection of books was thoughtfully curated and sorted by INCEIF’s Knowledge Management Centre, based on the guidance and preferences shared by the person-in-charge of the mosque’s library and resource centre. This ensures that the donated materials align closely with the needs and interests of the mosque’s community, enriching their access to valuable Islamic knowledge and other educational resources.
On hand to receive the books for the mosque was Mr Ahmad Fuad Abu who is the mosque’s Nazir and one of the persons in charge of the mosque’s variety of activities. Currently, the Resource Centre lends out its collection of books which included religious titles, to the local community. The group from INCEIF, led by KMC Manager Nur Azlina Zorollah, was given a tour of the facilities at the mosque which included the 500 pax-capacity hall of events, a sewing room where sewing classes are held and a small plot of land where local herbs are grown and goats are reared by the mosque’s committee members.
Today’s initiative reflects INCEIF’s commitment to fostering education and lifelong learning beyond its campus, supporting local communities with resources that inspire intellectual and spiritual growth.
