Wharton Global Initiatives Visits INCEIF University

Kuala Lumpur, 23 June 2026 — INCEIF University welcomed a distinguished delegation from Wharton Global Initiatives (WGI), representing The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, widely recognised as one of the world’s most prestigious business schools and the world’s oldest collegiate business school.

The delegation was led by Professor Ziv Katalan, Managing Director of the Wharton Global Initiatives Programme, accompanied by Amy Nichols, Director of Wharton Global Initiatives, and Rezal Rehman, Chairman of Cauldrn.ai and Wharton MBA alumnus (Class of 2002).

The delegation was received by Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr Mohd Azmi Omar, President and CEO of INCEIF University, followed by a discussion on “How Islamic Finance Inherently Addresses Ethics, Values and the Public Good”.

The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful dialogue on ethics, leadership and the evolving role of finance in creating sustainable and inclusive economic outcomes. It also highlighted the growing global interest in Islamic finance and its relevance in addressing contemporary challenges through values-based financial principles.
